Iebe Ypma

• Iebe’s 25-year career in consulting spans significant periods with A T Kearney and Ernst & Young. His line management experience at ICL and Unilever includes taking a number of innovative projects supporting major capital investments from concept study through to implementation.
• As a consultant, Iebe works with clients to ensure that business change and process innovation delivers business benefits. His contribution to such projects spans a range of roles, from executive responsibility as the global project director, to a mentoring role as an external adviser to board members. His work on these projects is supported by strong skill sets in the areas of IT strategy and IT procurement, process mapping and process innovation, logistics and project management.
• A Dutch national, born in Japan, educated in Germany, South Africa and the UK, and having managed major projects in Europe and the USA, Iebe brings an international perspective to all his activities. He speaks Dutch, German and Afrikaans as well as English.
• Iebe gained his MBA from Cranfield in 1984 and also holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance. He has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers & Commerce, and is a trained trainer and facilitator.
• Iebe has been actively involved in the Association of MBAs, initially as a member of the National Committee, later as Chairman (1992 to 1997), and more recently as Chairman of the International Accreditation Advisory Board which assesses business schools.

Kimball Bailey

• Kimball has been a consultant for twenty five years, including nine years at Ernst & Young, and has held director roles at Pagoda, Compass and Gartner. He started his career in the financial services industry, concentrating on IT and management information.
• As a consultant, Kimball works with clients to implement their strategies and to ensure that they realise benefit from their investment in IT and business change.
• He is an experienced consultancy director with a background in information technology, the management of change and operational business performance improvement across a range of sectors.
• He has wide experience of leading and working on international business change programmes and an effective track record in facilitating, developing and training internal and client teams.
• He has worked in the UK, the US and the Middle East as well as across Europe, in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Benelux, Scandinavia, the Czech Republic, Russia and Cyprus.
• Kimball holds an MA in law from Cambridge University (Magdalene College) and completed his degree in 1978. He is a regular conference speaker and also speaks reasonable – though now a little rusty – French.
• Kimball is a keen skier and cricketer, and despite his modest abilities is chairman of the Fleet Street Strollers CC. He is a strictly non-playing member of the MCC.  He also helps to raise funds for the Primary Club, the cricketers' charity that raises money to provide sports and recreational facilities for the visually impaired.
